All Aboard!
We went down to San Juan Capistrano for Zella’s little buddy’s (Devin) birthday. Being like any boy, he loves trains. So how perfect it is that the train station is down the street from our house?
This was the first time Zella has ever ridden on a train. And she took to it like a pro. She was even able to walk around while the train was moving — which on a train that rocks side-to-side can be a chore.
Our destination in San Juan Capistrano was Zoomars petting zoo. There were rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, goats, and horses for the kiddies to poke and pull at. Needless to say, the kiddies all enjoyed themselves.
The best part about taking the train was sitting back and taking a quick nap on the ride home. As long as we got off at the correct stop, there were no worries about anything else. Such a comforting feeling while traveling with kids. I can get used to ridding around in the train. And with no issues with Zella, it’s a sure bet that we’ll be taking advantage of the rail system more often.

What fun and I agree with train rides. My sister, Luana and I have taken our girls on trips to Portland, OR for
Christmas shopping age Thanksgiving. Fun getting out of town and a great way to travel with kids. Hugs
And it’s also great that the kids ride free.
