We went to a last minute comedy show at the Laugh Factory. We had no plans for Saturday night until Dane Cook tweeted that he was having a surprise ambush show at the Laugh Factory. The tweet went out at 7:30pm for a 10pm show. We were on the phone 6 minutes later. And we were rushing home from Whole Foods trying to find a sitter for Zella 10 minutes after that. You gotta love the immediacy of Twitter.
The show was great. We got VIP tickets which meant getting into the Laugh Factory earlier than the general tickets. That proved to be the winning solution because the place got packed. We found awesome seats on the floor. Although I gotta say, it was a much smaller venue than I imagined. Way smaller than your typical Improv location. Probably not a bad seat in the place actually. Overall, a great night considering we had no plans.
