99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall
It should surprise no one that I drink.
And in 2013, I continued my project to document all the unique drinks I drank during the year. As was done for 2012, I posted photos to Instagram of any unique drink I had, all with the same filter. For 2013, I spiced it up with a black and white filter!
So without further ado, let’s see how the year went:
– 99: Drinks
– 9, 3, 5, 12, 13, 12, 10, 15, 11, 3, 4, 2: Drinks per month (Apparently I wasn’t very adventurous during the colder months)
– 86: Bottled drinks
– 4: Canned drinks
– 3: Cider-based alcoholic drinks
– Pumpkin: Most interesting ingredient (New Belgium Pumpkick)
– Fu Manbrew: Best name for a beer
After all these drinks, it was tougher than last year to pick a winning drink. There are a handful that I could drink everyday without ever getting bored of the flavor. So what it boils down to is which drink do I want to share with my friends, yet not want to. Which of all these drinks did I end up buying over and over again after that first delicious bottle? Which one deserves to be highlighted as my drink for 2013?
So smooth tasting. This is a Belgium-brewed beer in one of its finest forms.
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. I’m pretty sure that idiom refers to food but I would argue that a drink is equally effective.
And don’t forget the bottle opener.
